“More than amazing! Don, was very helpful and gave us a tour as soon as we arrived. It turned out to be exactly as depicted on the website, with wonderful views. All was spotlessly clean and the linens and towels generously supplied. The only thing we regret was not staying long at this amazing place. We’re from Charlotte, if youre looking for a nice getaway (not too far) we recommend it. Thank you!”

“Don has an amazing place & is a truly hospitable host! It’s cute, quiet and really scenic (amazing sunsets and wine by the fire). We took a hike on the ~1 mile trail by the creek and played like kids to catch some crawdads. Spent some time in downtown Morganton with shopping & brewery hopping. Don had recommended the silver fork winery which was relaxing to grab a cheese board and a few bottles with friends. Very clean and accommodating in a quiet neighborhood. We had some concerns about our friends sleeping in the queen room but it was really comfortable for them. We’ll certainly be back to visit Don in the fall with our friends!”

“View104 exceeded expectations. As someone who looks at reviews before they purchase through Airbnb, allow me to answer those “questions” people often have.

1. The place was spotless.
2. View104 looked exactly like its pictures.
3. It was raining when we arrived so it was very nice to pull the car inside our own garage spot literally beside the entrance to our carriage house.
4. We also took part in the optional cheese and wine selections. Personally, I wanted to steal the customized glasses and mugs.
5. The host (Don) was available, friendly, and took care of anything we needed but also allowed us to do our thing. In short, if you’re ever worried about being uncomfortable you need not worry at View104.
6. You get a LOT for the price from little touches to optimal amenities. Want bottled water? It’s there. Microwaveable popcorn urge while watching DirectTV? You got it. Want wine to bring in the evening? It’s an option. They even have a full first aid kit, emergency ladder, and fire safety.
7. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and lush. The place was 5 Star from style to attention to detail.
8. As someone who works from their computer, WiFi is extremely important for me. It was excellent, stable, and there were even hardline options. For the mountains this is very rare and a reason why I often am picky about locations.

Basically, we had the best time and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again at View104 and plan to do so in the future.”
